Council responseMr Hooper presented the petition to the Council at the meeting on 24 January 2012. The Council debated the petition fully, and passed the following resolution: That receipt of the petition be noted, but that no further action be taken in the light of the need to achieve the outcomes set out in the report, the previous consultation and debate undertaken and the modest scale of the proposed charges, save that the Chichester District Council (Off Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2011 be varied so that Sunday charging hours are 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and that roving season tickets should be valid for seven days a week.
